I raked grass most of the afternoon. The boys came out to start picking up piles when I was about halfway done. At that time there were 35 piles. I imagine there were about 60 total.

We pile the grass behind the barn. This is the pile from the last mowing and this one. It is about 4 feet high. The neighbor was driving by and commented that hay is now $7 a bale. I use it to bed the animals in winter, and to give the goats a little to eat.

The kitten was like a kid. He would stare at a pile, then run and jump in just like a kid would jump in leaves. He would even roll around in it.

This is just a shot of the chickens. They like to roost in the goat pen. The goats like to hang out in the chicken coop. Weird.
