Walking out the back door last week I heard the neighbors target shooting. As quickly as I heard it I thought, "Where's Kelly? She'll be running inside!"
Hanging off the side of the ladder yesterday I saw a shadow in the corner of my eye and started to say, "Hey Girl! How you doin'?"
The heat here is miserable, and I missed seeing my Kelly Girl panting under the shade tree while I worked outside.
It is surprising to me how much I still miss her. I was sooooo frustrated by her. Annoyed. Irritated. Disgruntled. And now I think of her daily with fondness.
