We spent the evenings playing games: Apples to Apples, Dominoes, and Monopoly. I remember playing cards at the table when family would come to visit us. We also enjoyed fresh baked cookies, cracking hazelnuts, and eating chips. I don't think the fare was that good when I was a kid; mostly my aunts and uncles smoked.
Play time with the grandparents is always great.
