It was a beautiful day to be outside and study about the environment. The kids did a good job staying where they should be, and I was able to sit in a lawn chair and work on next year's curriculum.
After two and a half hours of study they headed to a horrible pizza lunch. It was like eating cardboard. Nasty.
In the afternoon they spent two and a half hours testing. Then we waited. Yes, we were in the top 7 and would go to State. We waited some more. Not third place, not second...FIRST PLACE!!! Go Lead Poisoning.
