Yesterday a wildfire spread behind our house. There were lots of firefighters and media, as well as other people hanging around all afternoon. It started when some land clearing, piled fires got whisked by the high winds. Thankfully the winds were headed the opposite direction of residential areas, and no one was hurt.
These were taken from our back porch. There were planes and helicopters buzzing the house all afternoon.
You can see they were getting pretty close. The boys enjoyed the excitement. The fires covered about 200 acres.
But the real excitement is this...I finished Wyatt and Anna's hats!! #1 even gave a , "Wow," when he saw Anna's hat. "I didn't know you could do ear flaps yet," he cheered.
