Death Eaters

Yesterday we woke to the death of our adopted guinea. Today I noticed my chicks were out of the kennel and thought I better go check on them. Five out of eight were dead and another one injured. Actually four were missing and one was left headless. Whatever it was was able to get into the kennel and still leave the gate closed. I am guessing some sort of fox or large cat. Tonight we will be sleeping in the van and carrying a gun. #2 is excited. He and #1 have made a deal...#1 gets the head of whatever it is so he can mount it, and #2 gets the skin to tan. Like any of that is going to happen.
