You Just Never Know

I received a thank you card this week from two of my Envirothon students and their mother. The mother and one of the boys wrote a nice note of thanks. The other boy wrote, "Mrs. Angel, Thank you so much for everything you have done to make us the best team that you could. I also thank you for sacrificing so much time so you could teach us. And I am probably most thankful that we got blessed with such an awesome teacher as to let us eat raw shrimp! Thank you again! Sincerely, T." When we went to the Don Lee Center the boys caught something called glass shrimp. They asked if they could eat them, and the guide said yes it is possible. So belly up they went and ate a live shrimp. Well 4 of them did anyway. The oldest boy had a little more sense than that; which means that #2 did eat a live shrimp. Ugh. Evidently it was the highlight of Envirothon!
