While we were out walking today for Run for the Fallen, the boys also took advantage of the obstacle course. When I asked #1 if he wanted to go to the event, his first question was, "Who will be there?" I told him this is not about Socialism, but about Patriotism! He decided to work in a little "socialism" anyway.
So far I haven't lost any more chickens. The neighbor stopped this evening as we were finishing up the greenhouse to ask if we had heard a commotion this afternoon. The other neighbor's rooster was killed by something. The chicks above are out all afternoon running hither and yon, so I don't know why they didn't get taken instead of a rooster. Kelly is out again tonight for their protection. The hens don't roost very high, so I hope she does a good job.
