Remember this from a couple of years ago? It was a shed in our back yard. We think it was probably used as a smoke house at one point. Then it had garage doors put on that may have been for a car or perhaps lawnmower.

Hubby and the rest of us tore it down and saved the wood. It is good pine wood and aged really well. The wood has been sitting in our barn since 2008 waiting to be denailed and used for some other purpose. I had thought we might be able to incorporate it into the remodeling upstairs, but our fabulous carpenter friend said that would be very difficult and costly.
So now it is here. Well, partly anyway. Hubby got another bee in his bonnet and decided to build a greenhouse. He used the wood from the shed to frame it out. The directions were online through the Extension Service. Overall it was a fairly inexpensive project since we didn't have to buy wood.
Now I just need a picnic table to put on the concrete slab left from the shed. Pine would do nicely...
